I'm a fifteen-year game development veteran that took the plunge and founded my own studio in 2013, going from idea to Kickstarter-backed game on Steam in less than 12 months with a team of five. It's called "Habitat", and it's about building space stations with space junk.

You heard that right.

AD ASTRA PER FRACTURA is the game's motto: a loose latin translation that spurs us to the stars - with whatever broken technology we can cobble together. It's how the game works, it's how our studio works, it's how entrepreneurship works - it's how I live.

I've spent plenty of time behind the keyboard writing C# game code, technical documentation, launch plans, and slide decks.

I've run million-dollar developer events, started micro-studios for new platform launches, run software development cycles, and given talks to thousands of developers and enthusiasts around the world.

I like to Captain big sailboats in warm locales with my tribe, I DM Shadowrun RPG games, I love writing sci-fi, and I dream of flying.

I think Seattle rents are way too high. 2016 is the year of starting a Co-Op. See you there.
